Exploring the Realms of Imagination: Sanlorenzo APAC Hosts Exclusive Gathering at M+ for Myths and Monsters

The year 2026 marks a momentous milestone: 10 Years of Sanlorenzo Arts, a global platform dedicated to fostering deep dialogues with contemporary creation, design, and cultural institutions worldwide. Staying true to this visionary commitment, Sanlorenzo APAC continues to curate exceptional cultural engagements in the region, connecting the world of maritime craftsmanship with Hong Kong’s most vibrant artistic epicenters.

As part of this ongoing cultural journey, Sanlorenzo APAC recently welcomed a select group of collectors, art enthusiasts, and brand partners for an exclusive private evening at M+, Asia’s global museum of modern and contemporary visual culture located in the West Kowloon Cultural District.

Set against the striking backdrop of M+, the evening offered guests private access to the museum's major special exhibition, Myths and Monsters: The Art of Fantasy in Asia.

Surveying the rich evolution of fantasy across Asian visual culture from the nineteenth century to the present day, the exhibition traces how mythologies, folklore, pop culture, anime, and digital worlds intersect. From traditional woodblock prints of spirits and ghosts to iconic cinematic monsters, manga, and contemporary digital landscapes, the showcase invites viewers to reflect on how collective desires and fears translate into powerful artistic narratives.

By hosting this private viewing at M+, Sanlorenzo APAC bridges the worlds of high design and contemporary visual storytelling. Just as superyacht architecture transforms visionary concepts into physical reality, exhibitions like Myths and Monsters challenge boundaries and celebrate the boundless potential of human imagination.

This special gathering reinforces Sanlorenzo's dedication to active patronage within the arts, ensuring that our community continues to experience the most inspiring cultural milestones the region has to offer.
