Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific announces the launch of Sanlorenzo Japan, established in strategic partnership with Shonan Sunny Side Marina Ltd, an established yacht brokerage and marina based in Shonan, Yokosuka. The partnership marks a significant step in Sanlorenzo’s long-term strategy to strengthen its presence in Japan and deepen relationships with the country’s growing community of high-net-worth yacht customers.

Commencing with the Japan International Boat Show (19-22 March 2026) in Yokohama, Sanlorenzo Japan will provide direct brand representation, bespoke yacht consultancy, technical expertise and lifecycle service support, delivered through Sunny Side’s established marina network and local market knowledge. The show will also see the Sanlorenzo SX88 – from the brand’s acclaimed crossover line – make its premiere in Japan.

Japan represents one of Asia’s most promising growth markets for luxury yachting in Asia. With more than 29,000 km of coastline and over 14,000 islands, the country offers exceptional cruising grounds alongside expanding marina infrastructure and rising interest in premium leisure boating among ultra-high-net-worth individuals. With increasing demand for customisation, design excellence, and world-class after-sales support, the market is entering a new phase of maturity aligning closely with Sanlorenzo’s “made-to-measure” philosophy.

Daniele Lucà, CEO of Sanlorenzo APAC, commented: “Japan is a strategic market with strong long-term potential. Its maritime culture, sophisticated clientele and evolving luxury boating sector align closely with Sanlorenzo’s made-to-measure philosophy. Partnering with Shonan Sunny Side Marina allows us to combine Sanlorenzo’s global brand strength with trusted local expertise.”

Hiroaki Hashiba, Chairman of Shonan Sunny Side Ltd, added: “Japanese clients place great value on craftsmanship, technical precision and long-term service reliability — qualities that define Sanlorenzo yachts. We are proud to represent such an iconic yacht builder and look forward to supporting the next generation of yacht owners in Japan.”

The launch of Sanlorenzo Japan further strengthened the Group’s regional platform following the integration of Simpson Marine, reinforcing Sanlorenzo’s strategy of direct market presence in key territories across APAC.

Following the Japan International Boat Show, Sanlorenzo APAC will participate in the Asia-Pacific Superyacht Summit 2026 in Kobe, joining industry leaders to discuss the future development of the superyacht sector across the region.
