Sanlorenzo Showcases Italian Design Excellence at the Shanghai International Yachting Week

Sanlorenzo marked a distinguished presence at the inaugural Shanghai International Yachting Week (16–21 June), held at the North Bund International Cruise Terminal. Set against the backdrop of Shanghai’s historic waterfront, the brand presented its distinctive vision, combining contemporary Italian design with a steadfast dedication to elegance and the refined yachting lifestyle.
 
 
The Sanlorenzo China team was actively engaged throughout the week. Tom Allen, Sales General Manager for Sanlorenzo/Simpson Marine China, was invited to attend the opening ceremony and contribute to a leading industry forum. During the panel discussions, he shared considered perspectives on the evolving Asia-Pacific yacht market, addressing emerging consumer expectations and the region’s growing interest in highly personalised luxury experiences.
 
 
On the evening of 18 June, Sanlorenzo hosted an exclusive private dinner at Capella Shanghai. Guests were welcomed into the hotel’s heritage Shikumen villas, where the character of old Shanghai provided an atmospheric setting for the occasion. The evening featured a Michelin-starred dining experience paired with fine wines. Daniele Lucà, CEO of Sanlorenzo Asia-Pacific, addressed attendees, offering insight into the brand’s design philosophy, its deep-rooted artistic heritage, and its enduring commitment to bespoke craftsmanship — principles that define Sanlorenzo’s approach to creating yachts as refined living spaces on the water.
 
 
Sanlorenzo’s participation in Shanghai reflects its strong confidence in the Chinese market and reaffirms its long-term commitment to supporting the continued development of the country’s yachting industry, in close collaboration with its local partners.
